WP6 - Swarm Robotics

The final scientific WP of Swarm-Organ aims to test the insights that have been gained during the project, in a real-world scenario. WP6 will run a study testing the successful GRNs from previous WPs in swarms of real robots. The desired functionality of Swarm Organs is large-scale patterning of many cells in a field, and therefore a robot platform in which each agent is very simple, but economical has been chosen, in order to implement experiments with 100 to 200 agents. The Kilobot platform, has recently been developed (Michael Rubenstein, 2011).
